Single dad/business owner in need of help, I started my own business in 2022 after gaining custody of my son (9yrs old) so that I could provide a better life for him. I put everything I had into my business and it took off really fast in my opinion,I gained a corporate contract with a restaurant and it was going really good for the first year, I was able to move us into a new apartment closer to his school and just felt good to provide for him which he saw his dad doing something productive. After a year of working the contract the mother company of the restaurant got brought out by another company and made a choice to take the fish tanks out of the restaurants to make more space since to them it wasn’t in the budget, which I felt they didn’t care about the small business that cleans and maintains them. I’m owed 2 months of back pay and haven’t reached a dime yet and my bills are building up and I have just gotten a job but I’m 3 months behind on my bills and facing an eviction next month. I wouldn’t be scared if I had family to ask or even someone I could ask for help but I’m alone in this and this is my last resort. if there is anyone that comes across this Please understand the burden and mental stress that comes along with knowing you and you’re child could be homeless. I pray this finds kindhearted people that can help, I say thank you and may god bless your soul for your help from me (Brandon) and my son (  Samuel).
